Every business has something to announce every once in a while. It can be a new product, a promotion of a team member, acquisition....a. wide assortment of things. Some businesses take a basic approach. A press release, a social post, nice and clean. That works, but why not go a little crazy with it... Why not turn an announcement into an event?
How? It is simple! 1) Tease the announcement. "stay tuned to our channels on Friday at noon...special announcement coming!" Set a time and date to make the announcement. Make sure you post it frequently, building excitement. Make your audience think this is a "can't miss event". 2) Create graphics. A tease graphic with the date and time, a release graphic with what it is, and an ICYMI graphic....center your whole campaign around this announcement for a few day and use graphics to sell it. 3) Be creative with the actual release. Record a video with the announcement, place your big news on a podcast, create a separate page on your website with the news. Doing a basic social post is fine, but add some creativity! 4) Follow up with a newsletter blast and more social posts Don't waste the chance to reach your followers a few more times in the next few days.
